51 signed up for dinner on Thursday, April 24th - Will you be joining us?

6 days to go ladies!!! Have you let me know how many seats to save for your family for dinner on Thursday night?

I have reserved a room for dinner on Thursday evening, April 24th @ 7 pm at the Full Moon Restaurant which is just down the street from the base. We will need to tighten up our head count on Monday.

We won't be able to see our sons and daughters until graduation itself so this will be our chance to get together and celebrate for them. Husbands, grandparents, girlfriends, children, etc. are all welcome to join in.

The website for the restaurant is - www.fullmoonopen24hours.com

If you would like to join us for dinner, please posted your name and head count with your ship and division # on this forum and I will try to keep a running total to submit to the restaurant the week before. We are hoping to make name tags (no promises) by screen name and division so everyone will know they have been chatting with.

Look forward to meeting everyone!

Mary,
How many of us are there for dinner so far?
Kimberly
Right now we are close to 40 ;-) hoping we will see a few more before we land on the 24th.
Great!!!
Hey Ya'll~
Sorry, I've been super busy at work the last week or so.
Betty~ Did you get to see that you tube 2 part video yet? I talked to Aaron today. I have some awesome news you may want to be in on.... Their B.S. (Battle Stations) date is the night of the 21st. I don't know if that's just our Div or if it's the whole PIR group. I also learned it's 13hrs. long and they have an early lights out that night.
Mary~ I'd like to add a 4 more folks to my lil group, total of 8 now. Thank you so much.
I have to say, today was the best day yet. I haven't gotton to talk to the lad since he left and to get to talk to 3 times today was great. brief calls (about 5min ea.) but every one was unexpected. His job has changed and is now in a higher security clearence field so I had to fax several items of info to the security office. Then he got to call and thank me, that was the call I got to chat with him for a little while.
By the way they all got haircuts again today. They get to choose how they cut their hair after B.S.
All he's asked me to bring him is Civi clothes, and from what I've read on here they have a tendency to get lost in the mail if ya wait til they get to A school.
Betty, Has Ashley told you what their Div is calling themselves these days? Since they're loosing so many SR's from their Div.
Wonderful Marjie - we will put you down for 8 for dinner

I'm so jealous that you got not one but three calls?!! But I understand why. My family got mail today and everything sounds really good for the division; they even won 3 out of 4 flags! My mail comes on Thursday so I'm anxious o see my letter.

I'm debating about the civie clothes, I understand they don't get to use them in the first phase of A school but like everything it can vary from school to school. Is your son staying in GL?
Mary~
Thanks for adding my extra folks.
I thought since his job chaged from CTM to IT he'd be staying in GL but he checked and told me he'd still be going to Pensacola. If he has to carry an extra set of clothes (if he'll be allowed) I'm sure he won't mind a bit.

I've not heard his voice since the day he left. I was absolutely beaming, still am actually. His girlfriend was having one of them crummy days we all get from this. I chatted with her for awhile, it lifted her quite a bit. She had to do that for me last week. Her calls on its way.
