Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 239 and 240

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

rolandsmommy... Chicago O'Hare, then Chicago Midway.. Are the closest.. The other would put you into Milwaukee, Wisconsin... But I believe that's the furthest... The cheapest we found was with Southwest into Midway...
Plus Southwest has no change charge should anything change with your SRs status or PIR date
Was hoping for a call today and nothing :(
My SR dad came by to bring us some Navy stickers for our cars, thought that was really nice. I could see that he is missing our boy. Looking forward to PIR 6/28 .

I was hoping for a call too. He did call his GF, so at least I know he's doing ok

We got a call on Saturday, Came in a little later then last weekends call.
My SR sounded really good.
I cried after he hung up. It was great to hear his voice.

yes um i was so happy on saturday .. my sailor says all is good and he sounded real confident and good. He talked for maybe 4 minutes ......after i got off phone i was crying all over again..we should all be proud of our sailors...they are all working real hard.. and Bless all you moms out there for being strong and hanging in there.:)

I  got a call on Saturday, too. I tried not to cry but I couldn't help it, I was so happy. Hearing his voice was the best thing in the world. He accidentally sent his list of addresses home in the box instead of the letter he wrote for his dad so he had to wait until he got my letters to be able to send any of his own. I should get 2 letters this week, I'm so excited! I'll be checking the mail like crazy!

im so happy for you...that you got to hear from your sr.  Be strong and keep on writing........its what keeps us sane

I know, I write every day. It really does help. And he loves it. c:

has anyone received a letter from their SR in these 2 divisions?

My turn to be sick to my stomach upset ):  I missed my boys call today...I had to take my husband to the doctor, and had to put my phone on silent because we were discussing what to do about some problems he is having...and THAT is when he must have called ):  I am just sick and sad and want to just scream or cry.....but a lot of good that will do me.....at least I can play his VM over and over and hear his sweet voice.....I miss my baby

Ship13 div 209 when we should be know something about our Sr's it's getting to close to graduation day May 31 and I haven't hear nothing. I'm going crazy
