What is the best way to arrive I see that it has several options; taxi, car (need pass), shuttle from hotel or walk on. If you walk on is there a place to park?? If anyone is on that has went can you give me the best suggestion from out of town and just not sure what to do. My son graduates on May 31. Thanks, Gina

There are pros and cons for each of the options. You just need to decide what will be the best for you. Some park in the Metra parking lot and walk across the street to the RTC.

Hi Gina,
My son graduated May 3rd and we took our car and it worked out great! You just print the parking pass using the password which was sent home with your SRs informational letter that came home. Yes plenty of room to park and we really liked having our car so we could leave to go do things directly from the base. Hope this helps!
Thank you!!
gina I drove on base. I got there at 5:15, i was the fourth person in line for the gates to open at 6:3o. I stopped and got donuts and cofee for my family prior. I hung out, met people from online as they arrived. I was able to pick what I thought was a great seat. It was amazing. My form letter said to arrive at one street but it turned out that you enter the base from Ohio street, thats gate 8 and if you're taking your sailor on liberty you will return them to gate 6. I went to the base the night before and checked everything out and spoke with gaurds. they were very helpful
