Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 231 and 232
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

FWNavyMom, welcome! If you go to the main Navyformoms page, you will find a ton of info - you'll have to sift through a lot of info, but you can also do a search. There's lots of info from people about where to stay and how to get around. I'm not from that area and have never been there, so no help for you, but there's been plenty of discussion about it in the main discussion group for PIR 6/21.
What's your son's name? Mine is SR Allen.
Good luck, and maybe we'll get to meet at PIR!
Thank you for the welcome! I appreciate it. There is so much info to sift through but I am finding it very helpful.
FWNavyMom, did you see on the main discussion page that someone released a room at the Navy Lodge cause they didn't need it any more? You may want to call them to see if you can snap it up! :)
OH MY GOODNESS. I have been working all day and just now seen this..Grrr..I'll keep looking out.
My daughter is in 231, I have only gotten one letter, but I got a phone (fast) call Mother's Day when she told me she is way too busy to write, and that she couldnt talk long becasue there were so many people that wanted to call their Moms. It was great to hear her voice though, I was hoping for another call, but now I wouldn't mind just a 4 line letter!!!
Have any of you received calls? I haven't heard from my son in almost two weeks - a few letters though. It's hard reading on the PIR 6/21 blog about all the calls & I haven't had one in a while. Is that normal? Hoping they're doing all right. Just missing him a ton :( but PIR will be here soon!
I know exactly how you feel! I got one letter and a phone call on Mother's day where she told me she is too busy to write! I REALLY want a 5 minute phone call! I am TOO impatient!
o for pete sake, I repear myself too much!!
