For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 231 and 232
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!

I got one call from my son about 2 weeks in. We were able to talk for 33 minutes. Yeah, I timed it..lol
The next phone call he got, he called his girlfriend. I love her to death and she is a sweet girl, but my little green monster peeked through when she told me that..lol

I got a call Saturday for about 5 minutes. But it had been awhile. My boyfriend is the RPCO (I think that's right) for div 232. He always seems good!

RPOC- sorry. Its Recruit Chief Petty Officer- I think it means he's in charge of 232. He says everything is well. I spoke with him Saturday- May 25th. His voice was almost gone.

Oh, that's awesome! That's a lot to be proud of! Thanks for letting us know he said they're doing good. My SR is my only child, and although I know and appreciate what he's accomplishing, it's tough being away from him, cause we used to talk and do stuff together every day. But, I'm getting better. LOL.

I understand that! Seems like, no matter how much time or how much you do with them, it never seems like quite enough when they're gone. lol. BUT, he was going to go into the service right out of high school (long story on that), so I had almost two extra years of him being at home going to the local community college and working. I wouldn't trade that time for anything! :)

Yay!! We got letters! Jill's 80 year old Aunt got 2, I got one, and she sent her sister a one line letter!!she sounds great, and it sounds like the team is really pulling together....except for the peanut butter thing!

We got 2 letters in this week one for me and one for my SR's sister. She gradated HS on this past Saturday. We haven't gotten a call since May 15th. I have to touch base with my SR's girlfriend (Paigem515) as she gets all the info on what he is doing and how the division is doing, where our letters contain that he is good - very short and sweet. But that is better than nothing. So between her and I we piece together how he really is. IT IS JUNE, ladies! We are on the downward spiral now!
