For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Fiance left for boot camp, how to deal without him?
My fiance left for book camp about a week ago from tomorrow. It has been so hard on me and it is only week 1. I have been so lonely without him. I have already started writing letters to him though I am waiting for an address to send it to. Maybe if I made some friends going through the same thing, it would help. Also, we plan to get married after his submarine school and "A" school. Has anyone else gotten married after "A" school? If so, I would love some advice.

Hmmm...He left on May 23rd. I don't know what time he may have gotten there. I'll just be happy getting a letter from him.

oh yea he should send a letter soon here soon! When I got mine I started crying. Gosh I'm such a sap LOL, And then I immediately when to his moms house and was at her house for like 3 hours.

LoL. I already cried today. I really hope to get a letter soon. I am so looking for that two week mark, which will be next thursday. Time feels like it is going soo slow to me. Oh yeah, yesterday, I missed him so much that I filmed a one hour video of me talking about things. LoL. ONE HOUR! It kind of made me feel a bit better though.

Oh wow yea when Jake called me like 2 Saturdays ago I was fine through the day, but then at night time when I was alone I started crying and could not stop. I cried for 2 HOURS like how pathetic?!?!? But after that and when he calls now I am completely fine and have a little countdown thing on my phone and just look at that and we are down to like 33 days so in no time we will be down to like nothing. So just keep that in mind when you do get a response for him and when if you count it down by weeks it goes by faster. And my first week was rough and it went by so slow but now I am getting more involved in my wedding and time is flying right on by.
