Hi!  My son leaves June 10 also from Philadelphia.  Best of luck to you and your son!

My son left June 10th from Delaware...:)

Yay!  You are close!  Everyone else I've seen post has been from the south or Cali.  Welcome aboard!  Where in Delaware?  We live in south Jersey about 20 minutes from Philly.

My daughter just left yesterday June 3rd......It was very hard.....just tell them they will get no sleep for about 36 hours.....once they get up in morning at MEPS they are up until the next night......no sleep the night they get there! Saying goodbye was the hardest thing I ever had to do! I hope the best for all of you!

Ugh... How are you handling it now

my daughter amanda is leaving on the 10th also from San Diego...so scared, nervous, excited, sad all at the same time!

Hello...my daughter leaves out on 11th...have to be at meps again on 10th for final papers...I wonder if our babies will be together...I sure wish Bre had contact with some of the other recruits she will be with....I am an over protective mom and hate to think of her being somewhere and feeling alone... lol silly huh? I will miss her soooo much! So thankful for this web site! Good luck new recruit moms!

My son, Kyle, leaves on June 10 from Columbus, OH.  But we actually live in Loveland.

I wish all of us moms luck in the next few days.. We have each other for support.. I know our kids will do great.

Debbie
Christopher's mom, we drop him at the recruiters tommorow at 4 pm. My heart will break a little but this is the best thing for him
I cried too for the 1st 2 days... Our dog paces back and forth in front of his room looking for him- that breaks my heart! I'm sure that they all will help each other as they are all in the same boat - no pun intended!! :)
