Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 267 and 268

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Brother divisions do train together and are housed in the same ship, they study eat and do all their testing together, Battlestations, Marlinspike etc.

Since integrated divisions (male and female) are housed in the same ship, and the males and females don't sleep together, shower together etc. (LOL), at night the males in one division and the females in the other switch compartments for evening-morning routine. When the SRs have dental work, are SIQ, or LLD the two divisions can combine those recruits into one compartment with the "supervision of one RDC" instead of two etc. There are other reasons too. Having a brother division on the same training week and day gives them the same schedule to allow those things.

Saratoga is correct on the divisions starting over with 001 at the beginning of the Navy Fiscal year, this includes regular (001), SpecOps (801) and Performance (901). Regular and SpecOps divisions are always numbered numerically, 900 divisions correspond with the TG number (there are exceptions to the rule), example TG 36 will have division 936.

Regular divisions those numbered 001 - *** always have a brother divisions. SpecOps and Performance only have a brother division if there is another of the same division type within the TG because they have additional training and "other" training that the regular divisions don't have.

Very good info! Thanks

Hi Ladies,

Some of you may have seen a conversation between other moms, in a different PIR date, on Navy For Moms regarding a gift basket auction at Sarge's Meet and Greet.  I thought this would be fun for us to do as well, if we can get enough of us ladies to participate.  I believe the idea was to make a basket specific to our state or locale.  The proceeds will go to Sarge and his wife for hosting all of us.  This would just be on top of our donations for the Meet and Greet in appreciation to them.  I think if we could have at least 10 ladies say yes to participating, this would be enough to "go" with.  We will need to set a monetary limit to spend on making the baskets, so I will wait to hear your response:)  I am signing up to make one basket right now:)  Anyone who cannot or does not wish to make a basket, can feel free to bid on the baskets;)

Thanks for any involvement!

ps. Mine will be "Imported from Detroit"
