Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 265 and 266
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

KD70 - What does 5.0 a test mean? My son called me about it, too. But, he said he got 100%. I think a lot of them in the division did exceptionally well. He said that was why they got an extra phone call.
The Unit earned a flag so I know they all did well. 5.0 is the same as 100%. and that is why they got the midweek call. But I really like the weekend call!
Anyone from 265 or 266 get a call yesterday? My kid called his girlfriend earlier in the week for about 3 minutes and said they (or he) got a perfect score on something and rated an hour on the phone this weekend. It was a great excuse to stay home yesterday but not a peep out of him for her or Mom & Dad. With any luck the Navy will show a little pity on us all and give them a break today for the holiday.
KD70 - so, you didn't get a call this passed weekend, either? I wasn't sure if you were saying you did or didn't.
Nope, not a peep out of the kid. I am hoping other 266 families might have gotten luckier than we were. Been almost a month and there's been a grand total of 3 letters. They must have them hopping!
Well, mine only sent me one letter. But, he's not a letter writer. I have received a total of 4 calls, though (counting the 'Im here' one). It doesn't look like any from 265 or 266 received any calls this passed weekend, even though our SRs said there would be one on Saturday. I'm finding that you can't count on anything.
I suppose I should be more thankful about the letter we received and the two he sent to his girlfriend. He didn't provide a lot of details but sounded pretty upbeat about the experience and likes the food (I found that shocking but I'm glad they now have to fill that bottomless pit he has). You have to wonder what they did to nix the call deal though. Winning a flag to display is a huge deal for them (and their RDC) so I hope it wasn't one of our kids that put the brakes on the call! LOL
Oh, I know. I've been trying not to think of that. They can't get a flag taken away from them, can they? I hoping that there just wasn't enough phone time this weekend. Especially with it being Father's Day and all of those SRs there. I'm sure not everyone could get a call in.
You're probably right that there were just too many recruits and not enough phones. I'm not sure how the flags work any more. Way back when you carried them as long as you continued to rate them. So if it was an academic flag they won they could lose it if their next scores don't measure up. There's probably a post somewhere on this site that discusses them in great detail.
NO ..nothing for 2 weeks now. Not since the 11th or 12th :(
Here is the link to the Flags your SRs can earn while in BC. It isalso posted it in the Pages located on the main comment wall under the member icons.
