Hi Ladies,
Some of you may have seen a conversation between other moms, in a different PIR date, on Navy For Moms regarding a gift basket auction at Sarge's Meet and Greet. I thought this would be fun for us to do as well, if we can get enough of us ladies to participate. I believe the idea was to make a basket specific to our state or locale. The proceeds will go to Sarge and his wife for hosting all of us. This would just be on top of our donations for the Meet and Greet in appreciation to them. I think if we could have at least 10 ladies say yes to participating, this would be enough to "go" with. We will need to set a monetary limit to spend on making the baskets, so I will wait to hear your response:) I am signing up to make one basket right now:) Anyone who cannot or does not wish to make a basket, can feel free to bid on the baskets;)
Thanks for any involvement!
ps. Mine will be "Imported from Detroit"

where are you from in NY??
Ladies, Should we make the cost of baskets more like 25-40.00? I don't want anyone to break the bank to do this:)
I would love to do one from Upstate New York/Northern VT. We are staying at the Navy Lodge. So excited!!
Saratoga,
Don't forget to mention to Sarge that your group will be doing this so he sets the time aside for you to do the auction. Sounds like it will be loads of fun and what an awesome blessing for Sarge!!
Thanks, CatMom, I actually cleared it with him before I opened up the discussion on here, so we're good:) I, too, think it will be lots of fun. Hoping this is a help for them:)
Really?!?! That is awesome! I haven't started mine yet, but I have several things in mind. Should we share what we do, or wait til that night to see all the baskets? Part of me wants to know now, so I can decide what to bid on lol, and I'm also one who usually likes to wait and see.... hmmm
