Looking for moms in the Triangle area...  I'm looking ahead, another navy mom and I sent goodie bags to the sailors this past week for the holiday project and thought it would be fun to get together with a couple of others to send them next year!

I am from Kernersville/Winston Salem area

If you have the chance, come to IHOP in Greensboro this Saturday at 11:00. It is not a long drive from you. We would love to meet you and find out more about you and your sailor.

Are there any get-togethers planned?  If not, we should plan one.  I live in the Raleigh/Cary area.  Would love to meet other Navy moms!

Actually, a couple of us had thought about doing a get-together once per quarter. That would be the last Saturday of this month, but we had discussed having it a week earlier because of the July 4th holiday/vacations. It seemed to help folks budgets etc. I don't know if any of the moms are still wanting to do that or if they would want to meet at IHOP in GSO again. I am in Hickory but made the 1 1/2 hr drive to GSO in March. I would be interested in driving back for another brunch/lunch/afternoon coffee.

Hi all, I've been off the site for awhile, but I'm glad to see our NC group is active.  If I can make the next IHOP meeting I will plan to come up and meet everybody.  I'm in Cary and would love to meet others closer to home, too.

MTLHS, I don't know of any mom's meeting here in the Triangle but even if there are only two of us, I'd love to meet.

Are there any Cary/Raleigh area moms who are interesting in getting together?

Let's go ahead and make plans to meet in about 2 weeks, and hopefully some others will see this and be able to come as well.  I'm not sure what is best as far as days and times for other moms, so I will throw something out...how about Tuesday evening the week after the 4th (July 9)?  If anyone would like to meet, please respond even if that day/time are not good!

Hi. I live outside of Dunn and this group seems like the closest group for me. I would love to get together, but not sure of my work schedule yet for the 9th. Please keep me posted.

Hismom, It looks like we have a few people for the 9th of July.  Let me know when you get your work schedule.  I hope you can make it!

Sorry for the late reply, just signed on. I will double check and let you know.
Thanks

Hey Judy- I just e-mailed you...we tried to arrange a get-together at the beginning of the year, but never did.  Check your e-mail!

MomThat LovesHerSon-I sent you a friend request and quick message

Hismom-I was going to message you as well, but decided to just reply to Judy's message.

Long story short, I live in the Cary/Apex area and would also like to get to know other Navy moms in the area.  I can meet on July 9th (evening).  My schedule is pretty flexible, with enough notice.  Let's try to arrange something!!

K.D.

I could meet Tue. July 9!!  Let's post some suggestions on where.

Here are my suggestions:

Cracker Barrel on Airport Blvd, off of I-40

Bob Evans restaurant in Cary in Crossroads Shopping Center

IHOP restaurant on Kildaire Farm Rd. in Cary

What do y'all think?  I am very open to other places as well!!

Let's get together!!  We haven't finalized our plans yet and I am already excited!
