Hi Ladies,
Some of you may have seen a conversation between other moms, in a different PIR date, on Navy For Moms regarding a gift basket auction at Sarge's Meet and Greet. I thought this would be fun for us to do as well, if we can get enough of us ladies to participate. I believe the idea was to make a basket specific to our state or locale. The proceeds will go to Sarge and his wife for hosting all of us. This would just be on top of our donations for the Meet and Greet in appreciation to them. I think if we could have at least 10 ladies say yes to participating, this would be enough to "go" with. We will need to set a monetary limit to spend on making the baskets, so I will wait to hear your response:) I am signing up to make one basket right now:) Anyone who cannot or does not wish to make a basket, can feel free to bid on the baskets;)
Thanks for any involvement!
ps. Mine will be "Imported from Detroit"

I would like to do one for NC "Nothing is fine then to be in Carolina". Just wanted to make sure I had this right. It would be things that are unique to our state? Correct? Then what met and greet? I am the only one coming from NC I am meeting friends in Kentucky that are very special to my SR and coming to PIR with them. I might see if she will not do one from Kentucky as well.
Hi navyboyzrus! First, great title:) Yes, we are creating baskets with items from our state or city. We are keeping the cost of making them to 25.00-40.00. Please include, to be viewable after wrapping, a list of items included. Also, please send me a message just saying how much you spent to make it so whoever does the auctioneering can keep that in mind for the bidding. Thanks!
OOPS! Also, navyboyzrus, The meet and greet this will be held at is Sarge's on July 18th at the Sundance Saloon.
I would be interested in representing So California, But I need Ideas of what you mean?
Hi proudofmySr Josh, items, just meaning, things that would be found or manufactured there in So California. Like certain foods, maybe. Beach gear from So Cali? Arts? Anything you can think of that makes you think "That's So California;)
