Mary, where is the Full Moon resturant? How close to your hotel? I think i will check about staying there IF justin gets liberty in GL after PIR. It sounds nice, with the suite set-up. thanx, linda
It is within a couple of miles of the base and seems to be easy to access regardless of what hotel you select. I don't have the address handy but it is on their website. Many previous PIR moms have used this restaurant and have been pleased.
Mary - I am so sorry we are late - Do you have room for Me (Carol), my husband (Roger) and our daughter (Molly) for dinner on Thursday 24 April 2008? We will be traveling from Indianapolis and will be in the Great Lakes area late afternoon/early evening.
Definitely Carol - we want you there! Adding 3 to the list!
Hey Mary...I'm way down here in Florida but if there is anything I can do to help out that Thursday night, don't hesitate to ask. We should arrive in GL late afternoon and I would be happy to help. Just let me know. I know other moms are bringing their cameras but I'll have mine too if you want me to take pics.
Awesome! Pictures would be great, a know a few moms are planning on bringing cameras. I recruited my husband to help make name tags for all the moms that are sign up based on your screen name so everyone will know who they have been talking to!!! I will also have blank name tags for the addtional family members that are joining us. Our flight doesn't land until 4:45 and we need to rent a car so I suspect we will be going from airport directly to restaurant as I would like to set up a table at the restaurant for check-ins/distribution of name tags. Perhaps you can take photos of each family as they arrive?
I'll be happy to do so, Mary! I can't believe this time tomorrow we'll be boarding!!!!!! I feel like dancing!
I know - so exciting! I'm getting our paperwork already now, airline tickets, parking pass, hotel reservations, etc. etc.

Did you get a call from Dan yesterday? Nick called about 5 pm they were having pizza and had been at an arcade. Said they got their orders the day before, he reports to school in GL on May 3rd.
I did talk to Dan, but for some reason he had not gotten his orders yet. He told me he was getting them today. He was going to see if he could call one more time after he got them to let me know if he's still a Grad-n-Go or not. I'd hate to leave for Milwaukee if he's still in GL. Dan told me he had just finished a pizza as well and had a candy bar in his hand. I have my clothes layed out and ready for one more look-through before I put in the suitcase. I've got the paperwork all together but want to go through it one more time tonight. Even printed our boarding pass as 6am this morning! When we go to bed tonight the car will be packed and all I have to do in the morning is put my clothes on and get to the airport. I've checked the weather and it looks like it's warming up a bit! See you tomorrow night, Mary! Save travels to all - Donna (Dan's VERY PROUD NAVY mom)
It is so close Donna - I get to print my boarding passes at 3pm. I know Linda's son didn't get his orders yet either. Perhaps they are doing them over a couple of days. Our son said he got his but they said...don't pay any attention to them so don't know what that means?!!! Haven't packed yet but that will be easy and we drop our dog off at the kennel at 9 am tomorrow and fly out at 3 pm. Hoping to get to the restaurant a little early to see how we are set up but our flight lands at 4:45 and then we have to pick up a rental car so it maybe close but I will be there asap. Safe travels to you - see ya at the Full Moon!
