Hello all,
My hubby was part of the fast DEP and was called two days ago to let him know to get ready to pack, he moved from December 4th all the way back to July 17th!!! Just a few more weeks to go! Needless to say both me and my daughter are excited for him but also nervous about it just being the two of us for a while, thankfully we live near family and I just met a current Navy wife who lives in our apartment area to chat with. He is an ATF- IT. Anyone else who have family leaving July 17th?

Hello! Maybe we will meet each other at the PIR ceremony! >.< I didn't book anything yet since I don't know the exact PIR date yet and they can change the date based on a variety of things...nothing is set in stone until they send you the official graduation information and even that can change sometimes!

My husban is set to leave the 4th of December. How the heck can we make this happen for us hahah. is there anyone else leaving the 4th of December or anyone that knows how to speed it up?
The group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in December, will be a better group for you, so you can leave this one. You will meet others there with loved ones leaving that day/week who may be in the same TG and have PIR together. Be sure to check out the discussion, Things to Do in the Last Month Before Your Future Sailor Leaves for the RTC. I also suggest you join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones), Girlfriends, Fiances, and
Wives of Sailors, and New Members Stop Here and check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions there.
Your future Sailor may want to join http://www.navydep.com to learn the ins and outs from the DEP point of view. Craig runs that and will steer him to some good links on there.
