Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 275 and 276

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

It has been a couple weeks since hearing from my daughter.  They were starting "hell week".  Does anyone know what that includes and what week they are officially on?  Counting down the days until PIR.

My mom got letters today from my SR she usually gets them from a day before we do-He sounded good & had passed his running test! So hopefully I will get letters & you will to this week only 15 more days to go!

Thanks. So happy for you! It's such a relief to hear from them. We have booked our flight and hotel so we're ready and waiting. There is a countdown clock on this website that breaks down the days hours minutes and seconds. Enjoy looking at it occasionally. I'm like a child counting down to Christmas.

I got 4 letters today stating they are super busy trying to fit letters in when the can but I am so excited to! I cannot wait to my SR!

Happy weekend to all. 12 days and counting. Finally received letters from my SR. She passed her PFA and MCA phase inspections. She has live fire on Monday. So proud of our young men and women. Hooyah!

Just found out about a great site for Navy PIR ribbons for family members and ordered through the link below.  Check it out.

The ribbons are a great way to show your pride and support for your Sailor. They also make it easy to recognize others from the same division and they make a wonderful keepsake.  Here is a link to the website http://www.uniquememorymakers.com/main.sc.

Received our PIR ribbons today. They are beautiful. What a great keepsake. Even my husband commented on how nice they are. So excited about next weeks PIR. Will wear the ribbons proudly!
Received a letter from the Commander informing us that our SR has been selected as Honor Recruit for Division 276. There are no words to describe how proud we are.

WOW!!! Congratulations.  My son is in div 276 ship04.

My daughter is too! I can't wait to see her next week. Are you going to PIR?

OH YES INDEED!!!  My whole family is coming.  We cannot wait to see him.  I have not heard much from him.  I am looking for activities to do while we are there.  He stays for the weekend.

I did get notice that he was caring the sword and he is the head of his division.
