Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 287 and 288

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

yes my son called last wed the 3rd too.  I haven't heard from him but i received 2 letters today

My son was in ship 3 div 288, now moved to ship 11.  Haven't talked to him since last Wednesday the 3rd also.  His letter this week said no more calls till after BS

My SR wrote me that there is a rumor there will be no more calls , I just had hope that it was only a rumor :(

We got a letter yesterday too, but he didn't say anything about phone calls.  When I talked to him on the 3rd he said he thought they would be able to call last Sat. but we didn't hear from him.  I hope the no phone calls until BS is just a rumor but I guess we'll have to wait and see...  :(

His letter sounded awesome though! He said they were getting closer as a division and morale was climbing as they were getting closer to graduation.  Sounds like they are working together well and kicking it!

Hi. My son was ship 3, now 11, but division 287. We haven't had a call since July 3rd.
Yes my son ship changed to ship 11. Not sure what's going on. His letter said he's doing good. Did he let you know if you should book ticket(s) to his graduation?
I already did we bought our flight tickets and made hotel reservations yesterday. I also received letters last thursday, he sounded very happy. I'm so proud of my SR :)
Hi. My son is in ship 11 (formerly Ship 3), division 287. PIR is August 9th. Any other moms out there?

I think it's still on the 9th.  I haven't purchased the tickets yet. He said to wait until he said it's ok to buy tickets.  But no matter what by the end of next week i will purchase the tickets.
