Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 936
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

He plays snare drum. He was the next to the last row second one in. Now I know he is ok. I have been a little worried. Guess I should get used to it. From what I understand being in Cryptology he will be in places that I will never know and may be away for weeks with no word from him......sigh.......I really don't think I will ever get used to that. But at least for 30 weeks after boot camp I will know he is in Pensacola for his "A" and "C" schools.
Mine does not look skinny his face looks a little more filled out than when he left home.
Just heard from my SR about 30 min ago. He sounded fabulous. Doing well. He was surprised we saw him. Talked for about 25 min. So good to hear his voice.!
I have two cousin who are in Crypto. They love it. When my husband was in that was kind of like his job. It hard school but he like it I am sure. Both of the boys were lucky they spent most of their time at Norfolk,VA, One did go to Japan. But there mom talk to them quit a bit. BUt I know what you mean about the long time not speaking to him. I did that with my ex when he was in the navy and then when he went to Iraq. But it is going to be so different with my baby. Here for you if ya need anyone though.
He is in Cryptology - "A" school is 4 wk prep, then 12 week A school then 18 weeks or so for C school.
I just found this website and I missed the video. Do you know if a choir was performing too? My daughter said on her last phone call that she's in the choir. I looked at pics on the FB page but didn't see her.
The video is archived so you should be able to watch it. Go to the website and watch the graduation video from July 03. The choir sang three times and they were close up on the camera all three times. I am sure you will see your daughter. Our son is in division 936 with PIR of 7-19-13, if your daughter is in that division she should be in the video.
I am glad some of you received phone call. Our son hasn't called yet, but good to hear news from all of you. We did get a letter yesterday. Our SR said they all passed requirements of Hell Week and the division finally earned two flags, so that was good. He once again asked for prayers for the division as they go into these last two weeks.
I am very surpised they go to bs so late in the week. I hope they get to go earlier. Many of us will have to fly to Chicago before we even know for sure they are going to graduate! Just going to continue praying and keep my fingers crossed.
He said he there are several great people he will want to keep in contact with after boot camp, so that is good, too.
Have a good Saturday!
Guess we are going to keep waiting for our calls. Hang in there everyone, pray for our division, less than a week to go now!!!
