Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 273 and 274

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

The girls seems a lot more informative! My son tells me about shooting and air compressors! Very few answers to my many questions!! Thanks for the bs dates and when we can expect a phone call!

Got a letter from my daughter today. She had a lot to tell me about. She said "hell week" wasn't so bad. She said the gas chamber was this week as well as fire fighting on Friday. She seemed excited about all she is learning. She also said *()they would be making phone calls on the 23rd. She said probably no phone calls till then. She sounds like she is missing us a little. BTW- she did say the food was great on July 4th- gave me the whole menu including apple and cherry pie with ice cream!!

So...Did Ship 14 officially change to ship 11?  My son has not told me much.  Another time.  I want to order a different Challenge coin.  Want to make sure this is official.  Kelly, should have asked you this!

They did move to ship 11 the USS Kearsarge!

Angela yes I asked Brett when i was talking to him and they did change ships to 11.  Good morning everyone only a few more days!!!!

did anyone get any phone calls lately?

The div has not made any phone calls, the only reason I got one was because my SR needed info for his security check the Navy is doing for his A school.

Does anyone know what day our SR's do BS?

I got a call last Thursday or Friday. I don't know if she earned it or what because I haven't heard of many others who got calls then.

I have heard several places about making a centerpiece for their graduation. I'm not sure how it works but I would sure be interested in having something special for our sailors.

Got a letter from my SR today, he is ready to graduate.  Apparently his Div calls him Iceman because he never sheds a tear when he calls home, he does not show emotion.  I bet you he will shed a tear when he see's me at graduation, can't wait to see him in 7 days!!

Kelly,

I wrote my SR yesterday and told him all about us and your SR.  They should call my SR Meanie since he won't write me a letter! LOL!
