Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 325 and 326
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi everyone. My nephew is also on Ship 12 Div 325. Since he is the first in the family to do this, we are having a hard time with him going away for 8 weeks. These forums have helped a lot. I am glad I joined. My name is Christine by the way.
Well, we didn't get a phone call. Hopefully tomorrow.
Hi everyone! My boyfriend is in Ship 12, Division 325. Got my phone call yesterday, so happy! Has anyone gotten there information on PIR weekend sent to them? We still haven't gotten it.
Shayanna the PIR for them is August 30th. My son is the same ship and div - he said that date was firm.
about.com has an interesting break down of navy boot camp.
We received our call on Saturday while up north at the cabin. We were at a parade and the emergency responders were all going by blaring their sirens! lol We quickly ran down the street away from them. We don't get the best phone service up there, and sure enough I couldn't hear my sons voice. I KNEW he could hear mine so I kept talking and I told him try another phone at the phone bank, and my husband was right next to me, I said call his phone. He hung up called his Dad, and we still couldn't hear his voice! We ran into the house and went to the "spot" where we've had the best service we could find. He called back! We got to talk to him for 10:42. Damn, I'm so proud of that boy!!!!! It was really good hearing his voice, and he was in really high spirits. Said a couple of the recruits couldn't even float, much less swim the 50 yard test, so for a couple of them boot camp is going to be VERY TOUGH. And, of course, he said what every mother hopes to hear, that his bunk mate is his best friend and he has another really good friend that sleeps right next to him. :) I'm already looking forward to hearing from him in two weeks.
My son is SHIP 12 Div 325. Still learning and anxious to hear from other Moms. Just got my first real phone call Sat 7/20/13. Made my day.
Hi annemai,
My son is Ship 12 Div 325 too. It's hard not being able to talk to them on a daily basis. Miss him so much. I hope our sons both are doing well.
