Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 273 and 274
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I told Brett to tell Perry to call and he laughed and told me he was on the phone, i am sure your son told him he was in hot water...LOL
What a great day! Kelly, thank you and Brett for keeping me "in-touch" with my SR. You have been awesome! I gave him a little grief for not writing, but let it go. He said he was so busy with the job. He told me Brett is awesome!
Just wish they were going to the same A school! Brett said he can't wait to have his cell phone and lap top so he can call home and just be able to communicate with the outside world. See you Thursday!!
Hi Navy Sailor Moms!! My daughter was one of the last to call, so I was relieved to know ahead of time that everyone had passed! She had a very tough last week, but all is good! I am so proud of her and all of our sons and daughters! I am very excited for PIR!! You have been a great support during this time and I can hardly wait to meet you in person!!
Cant' wait to meet all of you too!
Well PIR has come and gone and it was amazing. My son's division 273, won Captains Cup for the co-ed divisions.
We spent all day today at O'Hare airport with him waiting for his flight. He found another shipmate from another division going his way and they spent some time talking and comparing notes.
I want to thank the Navy mom/wife who we met at the airport. We did not get her name but she was warm, funny, and informational. She counseled love, support, and patience to my son's fiancé who has been feeling overwhelmed. It was the shot in the arm that she was needing. I can't say thank you enough! If you are reading this and have a pink Navy hoodie, and were at O'Hare today, God Bless You.
