Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 325 and 326

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is also headed there, for same job!!

Awesome, I hope they have gotten to know each other. Did you get a letter today? His girlfriend did, but we didn't.

I am ship 12 div 325! Glad to connect with other (anxious) moms out there!

Where will your son be going to A-school. Mine will be at Great Lakes for A-school. Glad to be finding out other Moms who have sons in same group.

Our son is SHIP 12 DIV 325 and is headed to Pensacola, FL for A school.

Last night I got my first real letter from my son. Was so happy to hear from him and learn how well he is doing. I hope he has received my letters by now.

Wahoo! First letter today. He sounded great he loves it! The days blend in and is going fast! His only complaint was 91 to shower in hour ugh and how gross people can be! Says div 326 is struggling a bit hoping they start getting things. But he had me crying like a baby by the end thanking us for our patience while he was searching to get to this place. He craved the discipline and loves what he is becoming a proud sailor!!
Loved reading this Nancytysmom! It felt just like from son. :). Did not get a letter today from my son but not surprised. We got his form letter on Saturday, so I'm expecting the same for his letters. I'm bummed to hear his division is struggling. :(. Hope it gets better soon for them. That was so sweet him thanking you for supporting him. That's such a treasure to hear that from our children. :)
I was so happy to hear people were getting letters! It was almost as good as getting one from my own son. And then I got home and found two notes in one envelop. He sounded happy and also said Bootcamp was not as hard as he had imagined. He is bunking with someone from our home state and next to a recruit who also played lacrosse on high school. Can't wait for more letters! I missed his call last week and will probably miss this one too as I will be out of cell range again :(
Finally heard from my nephew who is also on Ship 12 Div 325. Did not get a phone call this past weekend but we did receive a letter from him today. Did not sound happy at all. He said he was going to hang in there and finish. I am just hoping he is doing better now. Thinking the letter we got is from his first week there (he did not date it), that is why he sounded miserable.

my grandson is Ship12 Div 325.  haven't gotten his PIR info yet.  anyone else out there in our div get theirs?  Got our call last Saturday too, happy he's doing okay

I just got a call from the 847 area code but couldn't hear anything but occasional static. He called back again and it didn't work once again. Anyone else get a call?
