Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 343 and 344

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

So good to see this!!!  Excited to see and share with others in the same Div!  Have a great day everyone and I too hope for a letter today!

We got the first phone call last Saturday but no letter yet.  He hates to write so even when it comes, it might be two sentences.  That's ok.  As they say, no news is good news.

Letters for everyone in the house today!!  I was so excited to see them  in the mailbox.. They aren't very long but they are funny. I can hear his voice when I read them..Gosh I miss him! <3 my boy!

YAY!  I received two letters today!!  One was written last Friday and the other on Sunday after I missed his call...I was a bit afraid to read the second one, but had to laugh when I read how he started it...

"Hey Guys who don't answer the phone calls"  He even joked about trying two or three times but finally reaching his Dad.  Wow, I can now put away the whip I have been beating myself up with!!

Hoping others are receiving their letters today, what a relief!!  :)

Hi Navybratx3, I am glad you recieved the letters.

I also received two letter one was written on Friday also I think, she saiys there that itis 12:00 am and the other one was written on Sunday.

My Son said that they might call on 8/3 again.  My Son's friend graduated from BC on 6/21/13 and he said that every called that is missed they charge 5 dollars on their card.  I do not know who that works but he said for us to be on the look out for their calls.

Take Care and Have a Great Weekend

Thank you RMTz, I hope you have a great weekend too...and a phone call to top it off!!

I figured the missed call would deplete his phone card so I sent him another this week.  I had also sent him the free ones I found on http://callsforrecruits.org.  I don't know which he had used when he called, but better safe than sorry!!  :)

Thanks for the website Navybatx3, I just sent them an email.

It is great to hear from others in the same division.  My daughter is in ship11 div 345. We also received our first personal letters today!!!!!!  Thankful to stay connected thru all of you. Looking forward to more pictures from training command.  Enjoy your evening.

@Fancyindia

That's so cool!     He said in his letter "I've talked to a few guys in my class and they tell me that you and their moms(/wives/gfs)  talk to each other on the internet which is pretty cool"  Lol I'm not sure who he is referring to but I am glad he thinks its pretty cool!  Probably gives them the same feeling it gives us..Security to know others are going through the same they are and they aren't alone.. ??

Does everyone have their blue candle lit tonight?  I do.. But it looks like I may need to buy a new one tomorrow.

I may buy a box!  LOL!  Good day today!
