Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 359 and 360
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Hi,
My Son Matt is ship 12 div 359. He isn't Nukes either, heading to "A" school in Gulf Port.
Still haven't rec'd any calls :{ Praying we will hear from him soon.

Hi everyone, my son is in 359 and is also going to Nuke school after BC. He is also my first to leave home, and his next youngest brother is leaving for college at the end of the month, so I'm getting hit with both at once! Looking forward to getting to know everyone over the next few weeks

Oh...I am so sorry...for you to have to deal with 2 sons leaving in such a short period of time. That must be very difficult. Hopefully our sons will become friends during BC and that friendship can continue on into A school. What state are you from?

Got a call from my son yesterday. He mentioned another Nuke who sleeps in the bunk next to him who is from Mass. I think he mentioned his last name...Murphy, I believe (or it might have been Johnson). My SR mentioned both names but in my excitement I cannot remember who he said had what rating. Did you receive your phone call yet?

The one next to him from Mass is mine :) He mentioned it too - I think maybe they were close to each other when they were on the phone because in the middle of the call he asked me if I was in touch on line with a mom from Wisconsin and they were amused that within such a big group their moms had connected!

That is really neat! Hopefully our two boys are getting a chance to get to know one another. I think the whole BC experience is easier to get through if connections can be made among the recruits.
