Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 345 and 346
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

35 days 18 hrs..... We are getting there.. Have a great day everyone!! Oh yeah, It was also letter(s) day! Can it get any better? lol
My son is in Div 346 and he called yesterday after they did some testing
He sounded great -- saying they would be getting busy the next few weeks
and that he would not be calling again until 9/3 -- they got their uniforms, all
of them and he was excited
Wish our sons knew we are in communication with each other. Are you going to be at Sarge's Meet and Greet? I feel like I'm connected to other Navy moms even though we've never met.
Hi there! I know my son bonded with a group of guys & one of them is from TX. Wonder if he is your son that befriended mine? Kinda cool if it is. I miss my son so much.. it's just nice to have positive thoughts while we go through this transition (this is one of em').
I am going to try to be at Sarge's meet n greet but it all depends on my hubby's schedule & traffic through Chicago from MI.
We have 16 more days til PIR!
Don't you just love those letters? My guy celebrated his 20th b-day on Aug 13th. We made a cake & celebrated it. Even sent him a pic of the cake. Sure hope we get to hear from our sons soon. 16 more days! Cannot wait to see him & give him a crazy mom hug! I miss him so.. as I am sure we all do Go Navy!
I think my son and your son are together. Ship 11, Div 346. Are you going to the Sarge's Meet and Greet on 9/12? Haven't heard from my son since Aug. 8th.
Hi, my son is in your son's div. The last I heard from mine was on the 17th. It was nice bc his grandparents were there so he was able to talk to a variety of family. Are you planning to attend the PIR? We are - bummer about the 4 people tho.
Where will your son be after BC? Mine will ship off to Pensecola, FL for IT. At least that will be another 9 months out of harms way.
We are planning on attending PIR. My husband and I will be there with two of our younger sons but our daughter, who will also be flying up, will not be able to go to the live graduation because of the 4 person rule.
Our SR will also be going to Pensacola as an ABH.
30 days until PIR!! Can hardly wait, we are now only 1 month away! When I talked to my daughter last week she said that marching is really hard and that she actually had her RDC laughing at her! Oh boy, I'm sure she'll get it by PIR. It does sound like they have a very grueling schedule and in spite of that she sounded really good. They certainly don't get much free time and when they do they have a lot to do. So, I asked her "when do you actually get to talk to one another" and she said that at night when the lights are out they all talk for a bit.
Blessings to each of you today and your SR too!
Just returned from Costco where I purchased something with a 9/17/13 expiration date. I immediately thought "this will be good until AFTER I return home from seeing my son!" :) I know they are busy, but I am hoping for a letter this week. We've heard nothing since Aug. 3rd.
Ship 11 Div 343.
I received my sons letter today, in it he mentions he is friends with KF from Va, SP from Brooklyn (I guess I've been talking to his mom? HELP! I cant figure out who you are.. Also JM from California and P from Hawaii he doesn't think those moms are on here.. Any takers on these guys?
My SR sent a letter to his brother, which we rec'd today! He's doing very well. So glad to finally have something from him!
