Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 365 and 366

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

He said the food is amazing, the peanut butter shot hurt like heck, not getting much sleep cause 82 plus people trying to use 6 ironing boards at night. Lol. He said the div is still trying to come together as a group.

Congrats to those who have heard from their loved ones....noticed they were 11-366...so happy for you all !  Anybody from 365 get a call or letter yet? Waiting to hear from my granddaughter.

Breezeme: My son is 365 and he called, we talked for about 20 minutes. Did you hear from your granddaughter??
My daughter is 365 and haven't gotten a call. Please Lord let her call!

No...not yet. Bet it was great to hear from him! Is all going well?

Christina, how long ago did you get your call?
Dannaproud: He called about 3 1/2 hours ago. It was 12:10 Central Time. Did you guys get calls yet?

Breezeme: Yes it was really great to hear his voice. He said its tough but he is doing ok and the Division is a good group. He's being strong and hanging in there. He says letters are real important for them. They just started getting mail Thursday but now they will get it every day. They can start writing back tomorrow. As you have probably already read, they were held for a week so that wasn't fun for them at all. But it's getting easier every day!

Still no call here, I've kind of lost hope that I will be getting one today. Hopefully tomorrow!

So glad for you. Hope I get a letter next week. Guess I'm not gonna get a call. Oh well at least I know that they are ok and getting our letters. Thanks for posting!

All is well again.  My SR called (Ship11/366) YAY!

A short call but a great call - lots of information.

P-hold for 6 days, waiting for females to populate the division.

As of yesterday (Friday) they are at Week 1 - Day 4 of Official Boot Camp.

They are a "Push DIV", which he said means, even though they will not go through all 8 weeks of BC (only going through to Week 7 - Day 3) they will still graduate on 9/27.  He said it has something to do with the end of the Navy's fiscal(?) year.

Not getting his first paycheck until the 1st, because of the long P-hold.

Has only had PT once so -far, but he passed his initial swim test and his PFA - YAY.

He sounded GREAT!  Very up and happy!

Maureen thanks so much for the information! atleast I feel I know a little of what is going on!

My phone is attached to my side right now.... waiting on it to ring! I really hope he calls, I am going to be so bummed if I don't hear from him ;-/
