Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 363 and 364

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My husband is in Ship 13 DIV 363.  Hello to all the other moms, dads, and other wives out there. :)

Hello !! My husband is Ship 13 Div 364 !! Only six weeks to see our Sailors !!!
My son is ship 13 div 363. So glad to hear from families in the same div. I was hoping to hear from him today. He was able to call last Saturday and said he might be able to call this weekend. Anxiously awaiting!!
Thankfully heard from my son tonight! He seems very happy, just looking forward to the exciting things to come. This was my second call. He said he might be able to call again on Thursday! He's 13/363. Hope families were able to hear from their SR's as well!

I heard from my husband today as well.  Only got about 10 minutes...he thought he would get more.  A little disappointed to get cut off quickly, but Thankful that I got to talk to him at all.  (13/363)

My Son Aaron is in Ship 13 Div 363 Just wanted to meet some other Mom's in his Division. Hope everyone is surviving the BC experience. His older brother went through BC 2 1/2 years ago. This one has been a lot easier on me, since we have already had 2 phone calls. My oldest son's first phone call came at week 5, missed Christmas & New Years with no calls home! Hope everyone's sons are doing well. I can't wait for 9/27/2013!!

My son Joe is also 13/363. I have also heard from him 2x thankfully! He sounds good! I don't know if I could have handled not hearing from him for 5 weeks! That must have been tough, especially with holidays! Also looking forward to the 27th!

hello my3sons, my son is also on ship 13 div 363.   BC is tough on me, knowing he is so homesick.  I just keep with the positive reinforcement..  I too cant wait until 9/27/13!!!

Heard from my son last  nite.  Was soooo happy to hear he was ok.  Miss him sooooo much..Glad everyone got to hear from their SR's.  Pampeck don't think I could of handled 5 wks either  lol.

Ship 13 Div 364

I heard from my son last Saturday but not this weekend. I keep the old atage..no news is good news. I 'm writing to keep up his spirits. Come on September 27th.....

Hi everyone!  My SR is my son.  Found out he is a stick.  Not sure what flag he is carrying yet. Have to wait on his next set of letters for that.  Got to talk to him for 16 minutes last Saturday.  Made my day.  Looking forward to meeting you all. Hope everyone will be able to attend PIR 9/27/13.  If you can't make it, let me know.  I will be sure to greet your SR and send a hug his way from you.  So proud of all these recruits.  I know mine has a top bunk.  He was falling asleep during lines and whoever was in the top bunk next to him gave him a nudge so he could finish his homework.  They are already looking out for each other. :)

Almost forgot. He's in ship 13 div 363.

Does anyone know which week/day Ship 13/Div 363 is?  I spoke with my son the other night and forgot to ask him.  I was reading the web site that someone had posted called What happens at Bootcamp - http://www.navydep.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433 - extremely informative and what great insight.  My problem is I have no idea what week/day they are currently on.  If anybody has an idea I would so appreciate it.  It would be nice to try and follow along in the process.
