Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 351 and 352
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

My SR (boyfriend) is in div 352, haven't had a phone call yet. First time he was able to he was stuck in medical because of the holes the blisters had given him from his boots. He said he'd get a chance to make it up but hadn't called since then or this saturday. Anyone get a call on saturday? or was it just the week before?
I'm sorry you haven't had a call from your SR. I did get a call from my SR (son) on Saturday.
Pygmy - Sorry you haven't heard from your SR yet. My oldest SR had the same problem with his boots. I did get a call this last Saturday from my youngest SR.
Got my call today <3 so happy about that. His blisters were holding him back when running for the first prt, he finished 15 secs too late. But he should be alright other then that.
Hi!
I'm new here and still learning new stuff every day! My son is in Div 352 and is going to A school in Pensacola - anyone else out there in the same "boat"? Ha! :) I heard from him for the first time yesterday. He had a wisdom tooth pulled and got 2 days bed rest! But he's still on track to graduate on the 20th. He says he's not having any problems with his feet - which is GREAT! He also said he may not be able to call again.... which I'm hoping isn't true. I asked him if he had any friends and he said "Ya, about 75 of 'em!" So I'm sure he knows all of your kids. I can't wait to see him! I have been pricing travel since I am in Sacrament CA - and it's super expensive! Someone told me not to get a ticket till 21 days out - has anyone else heard that? I'm worried that they will all be gone or the prices will go up!! ACK!
Well, thanks for listening!

Gotzcha - My youngest SR is in Div 352. Both of my SRs are going to Pensacola after BC. I am heading to Great Lakes for my first PIR 8/23. I am so excited to see my boys!! We will be making both trips via automobile!! I have always heard to get a refundable ticket...not sure on this though.
Welcome Aboard. Our son is ship 14 div 352, but not headed to Pensacola. I know Southwest flies out of Sacramento into to Midway in Chicago, so you may want to check them since their tickets are fully refundable, but at least you will know you have a seat. You can always change it once you get your letter the the official PIR date. I went to high school in Sacramento, are you from there or passing through?
