Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 365 and 366

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Anyone who spoke with their SRs from Div 366 know when they are going to be able to mail out letters? Was it this Sunday?

My son is in 365 and he said Sunday was the first day they were going to be allowed to write letters so I am sure they were mailed out Monday.  :) I will be checking the mail tomorrow but I'm thinking it may be Thursday before it gets to Texas!

On FB they are having a Trivia Tuesday on the U.S. Navy Recruit Command page...be the first to answer and get a pic of your SR with their division...come on div 365...only a couple on there!

I am not on FB so please keep me posted!!  :)

I keep going on FB to try and answer that question but nothing yet! I would love to see a pic of 11/366!

Well they posted the question and it all happened very quickly :( So just waiting to see what Div it is that gets the picture. They said it will be posted by tomorrow.

Hello All!

Let me preface this by saying, I live in Illinois about two hours away from GL, so mail delivery is extremely quick for us...  with that being said...

We received letters from our SR today! YAY!!! (11/366)  I think our mail lady was more excited than we were!  LOL!

They were postmarked Monday, August 19th.

He is indicating on each letter (next to the date) which week and day of training he is in.

August 15th was Week 1 - Day 3.

He's doing great, many more "ups" than "downs" and really loves us sending him letters, jokes and pictures.  He says he would prefer all wallet-sized pictures.

He also asked for Q-Tips and mole skin.

I am so happy for you! How exciting! I really hope mine is here by tomorrow!! I live in Texas so fingers crossed for tomorrow or Thursday!!! :D Did he give any updates on the division?

That's good news!  We're in CT, so I'm hoping maybe by Thursday or Friday we get a letter:))  He should have a pile of them by now if they were allowed to receive all their mail!

So Ship 11 Div 366 is in Week 2 day 1 today!!

OMG!! GOT LETTERS!!!  I know my neighbors thought I had lost my mind.  I grabbed my letters out of the mailbox and started running and waving my letters in the air, yelling, "We got letters. We got letters!"

She was S.I.Q. last weekend so we didn't get a call. So relieved to find out that was the reason. She is really upbeat and has made several friends already. Says it is hard but nothing she can't handle. Shots hurt! (duh) LOL. And she has already gotten to receive some mail!

It was great to find she is still happy with her choice because some aren't. Hope you all received such wonderful letters!! Navy Strong & Navy Proud.  HooYah  Ship 11-365

Awesome!! Enjoy them!
