For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 363 and 364
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Hello everybody, my son is in Ship 13 Dive. 364. Miss my son terribly. But I have spoken to him twice and he is still in very upbeat and very motivated to make it through boot camp. He is in a great division. Everybody helps everybody. I am so proud of him. He has not complained once of anything in his phone calls or letters, and let me tell you my son is very vocal, lol. My husband, daughter and I are all anxiously waiting for 9/27/13 to get here!!

my son is in your sons brother company. They do everything together. Per my son on his phone call Saturday. Today is day 2-2.

Good Morning! Did anyone get a letter yesterday from their SR in 13/363? Just curious.
Not sure if it depends on where you live if you get them Wed. or Thursday. Praying today
i get his letter(s).... Miss him soooo much!!! Hope all is well with all you other mom/dads :)

I have not yet received a letter from my son in 13/363. I was hoping for today. I received a letter last Thursday so I am hoping for today. He did tell me last Saturday that he thought he might be able to call on Thursday . So I am hoping for some sort of communication today. Good luck!

Just got a letter from my son today. He sounds good but is very tired. Said he was told they would have an hour today (Thursday) and should be able to call home today. Letter was written on Sunday so let's hope they get their hour to make some calls today! Hope everyone will hear from their sailors today!

Got a call from my son too!! Ship 13 div 364. He sounded great but sounded tired to me. But he called us back 3 times cause he had more time. Lol! He passed the class room test. They got their dress uniforms. He doesn't Luke the dress blues. Says they have 14 buttons for the fly. Their is an exercise he doesn't like called the ten. It's like a jumping jack that kicks back into a push up. Lol I had to laugh cause I remember doing those when I was in boot camp. They really are the worst!! But he sounded great overall.

Just wondering how everyone is doing since probably haven't heard from SRs since last week and mail hasn't come out for this week yet. Hope everyone is hanging in there and the time is flying by. I'm praying that our SRs are doing well and working together as a team. I know mine told me he is making friends, one of them being his RPOC.
