Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 343 and 344

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yay!! We have our own group!!
Good morning ladies! So excited to meet others who have family in the same ship/div as my son..This will def make it easier to find each other. ;) Hope everyone is doing well. I'm sure we are all missing our SR like crazy by now. Anyone received a personal letter yet? I hoping for one today!!!

I received a letter yesterday.  My SR is 344.  Hopefully you will get one today!  The letters were postmarked on the 29th.  I was surprised at how fast they arrived.  I'm in Missouri so maybe that's why.

I've been missing him like crazy too!

I'm looking forward to meeting others in the same division.

These letters are the best aren't they? I had to re-read my letter a few times, the first time I was reading with tears in my eyes so I was afraid I missed something.. He's not a fan of the food. It makes him miss my cooking..I'm not really sure that was a compliment though..lol  This is definitely not the same boy I hugged goodbye 3 weeks ago.. Gosh I could use a hug from him right now!!

Good morning. My son is on Ship 11 Div 343, and I'm so proud of him and of all of your children. I'm eager to attend the graduation, and to see my son --now a man, because he left me a boy.

I'm new to N4M, and was wondering about us parents possibly wearing some identifying ribbon or color in order to be able to recognize each other on the 13th Sept.

I think that is a wonderful idea. we also talked about all meeting before the meet & greet.

I'm certainly up for it. I'm new to the group, but everyone needs support and our kids have chosen a very admirable path.

Welcome to the group!

Thank you, RMTz.

Welcome g0dzgurl,
Some of us are also on Facebook. It's a little bit easier to communicate on there. Are you staying at the Navy Lodge?

I'm not staying at the lodge. I guess we'll stay at our usual place when we travel, La Quinta. I hadn't even thought of the Navy lodge as an option. Where can I find info about it?

And, thanks--

From what I've heard, it's sold out for that weekend.

Yep, totally sold out. I should have known. Did get a room at La Quinta, though. So, everything turned out blessed.
