For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 367 and 368
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

landlockednavy- WOW! You have so much info, I love it. I didn't get a chance to find out any of that stuff. I like having an idea what is going on, it makes me feel a little better. I sent yet another letter today along with pictures, which he requested. I hope that they give him a little taste of home and he feels more at ease.

Well my son was staying in great lakes now that may have changed to Mississippi. I know the military is know for changing there minds. But I was hoping for the extra time with him in great lakes.

PA Mom - I spent about 6 weeks in Meridian MS in 1986 for "YN" A School. Not sure what they have going on down there these days. All I know is that I could not WAIT to get out of there and back to my ship.

Hi Everyone! My son will be headed to Groton CT - he's a SECF selectee. Also from PA (Lehigh Valley - Nazareth area to be exact). I look forward to connecting with everyone as we continue along this journey.
My son is Ship 3 Division 367. Arrived in Great Lakes on 7/29. Got a call Saturday afternoon and it was the best four minutes I've spent on the phone. He's doing well. I have a letter going to him tonight / tomorrow - will ask if there is anyone in need of mail and if so will update the group here.

my son is in the same division and left the same day, he will be going to A school in San Antonio for Master of Arms and he is from cocoa beach, florida
