I found the while I was surfing this site and thought it would help a lot of people out. Not sure who wrote it but it will come in handy for people who have loved ones flying out after PIR.
Is your recruit flying out to another base for A-school on PIR weekend? If so, and you plan to meet them before their flight, you need to take the steps now to make sure you are able to find him/her at the airport. In the past we have had families in a panic because they don't have any info. They sometimes don't even know which airport to go to. I made this Flight Info Card and sent to my Sailor and I think it will help you as well. Just write it all on an index card and send it to your recruit. Have them keep the card and fill it out when they get their itinerary. Then at PIR make sure they get it and give it to you before you leave the base for liberty. You don't want to end up at the wrong airport. Mail this on an index card to your recruit.
Please fill this out when you get your final orders and then give it to us at PIR. Do not mail it.
