Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 359 and 360

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Division 359!!!

I think I see my son in the picture. One of two possibilities

I see my SR!!!  This totally made my day!  He looks like he lost some weight...looking trim and fit.  Treasure this photo, ladies...it is rare to see a picture of your SR while in boot camp.  Two weeks left!!!

Where is your son?  Mine is the back row, going left to right # 8.

Sorry...I just noticed this email now.  My son is in the center - third row from the front (I am not counting the SR sitting by himself in front as a row) and 5th from the left...just to the right of the handsome African-American recruit.

Hi Tinamev,

My SR said he has lost 23 pounds so far...so yes they have lost weight!  Wish I could say the same for myself =)

Wow...that's a lot of weight!!!  There will be nothing to hug after you see him at graduation!

I just joined the group. My son Cameron is ship 12 division 359 and goes to SanAntonio for military police training. In Sept. I will not be able to attend the graduation and probably will not see him again till November. He is my one and only so I am an empty nester as well. Far too many adjustments at once.

Hi Cameron's Mom,

My SR is in the same division.  I will find your son and take pictures at the graduation! My SR is my only son too. It is a lot to get used to, but you will have tons of support on this site.  Remember you are not alone.

Blessings,

Lisa

Hi Sglen-

My son, Dylan, is in the same division.  I will ask on PIR if he knows your son and will try to get some pictures for you!  I know there will be a lot of people there but I will do my best.  Hang in there.  We are all here to support you!  God Bless you and your son.

Sandy

Good evening all Mom's with a SR on ship 12 Div 360... Just checking in to see if any of you have heard from your SR lately. It's been about 2 weeks since our last phone call.
