Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 395 and 396

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

We received our second call earlier.... It was great to hear from him again.

All my thoughts and prayers are going out to the families and loved one on the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters. I pray that the deaths and causalities will be few and that the brave sailors will be kept in all our prayers. God Bless them all.

God Bless all those at the Naval Sea Systems Command In Washington DC. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

Received a phone call yesterday afternoon from Colt division 396. He sounded so much more upbeat. It was great to him so positive. Just makes me anxious to see him in October :)

It was so nice to get a phone call 2 days in a row. What a treat for Div 395. They must be making great progress. My daughter sounded good (what a big difference from last week). Now, no more calls until after battlestations. Can't wait for that call :)

Come on DIV 396. Trivia Tuesday!!! Let's Do This!!!

Where are pics everyone is talking about located?

Spoke to The Photo Lab this morning.  Div 396 is scheduled to have their picture made on 9/27. Wish I would have thought to ask, if the picture will be taken in the blue or white uniform?

Can we order them for our families or do the sailors order them? How did you get a hold of the lab?

Great question! I know that I am gonna order for sure when they are available

The number for The Photo Lab is 847-578-6205.  Package A $140 includes 11×14, 2 8×10, several 5×7, 24 wallets, division pic and yearbook.  Packet B, no 11×14, no yearbook for $20 less.  The SR can order or you can order at PIR.  If the SR orders he can request the pics be sent home for a small fee, of course.

I just ordered 60$ worth of ribbons for my son's PIR. I may have over did, but I am sooo excited. It's finally getting closer. I hope these next few weeks go well for all the recruits. I know some of their hardest training is coming up. I am looking forward to see Wyatt soon....
