Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 415 and 416

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I just sent you an add friend so glad to have found this page. My Fiance is Ship03, Div 416

My son is also in this div Kia is his fiancée. He is the yeoman of the group, he is an IC tech so will be doing A school in Great Lakes. He also has done three years of college so is more mature than some.

Ladies grab your phones Ship03 Div 416 is calling. Just got off the phone with my son.

I got to talk to my son today. He said they have been marching a lot. He passed his swim test and his pfa, They failed an inspection yesterday so they had extra marching today. He also satd they did some first aid training and that it was fun. He said he hasn't notice anyone really being homesick. He also said that they have been practicing for graduation and that they are group #9. He was also excited because he was a section leader. He said that he has collar jewelry. LOL  He sounds like he is still enjoying it. We talked for 15 minutes he said if they needed anything from the nex he had to go now. So he needed toothpaste and if he didn't get it now it would be awhile before they could go to the store again. I was surprised he called today cause he just called last Saturday, He said they were on week 2 day 2 on Friday. He said time is really flying by, they really keep em busy and he stands watch from 8-10 at night. so he uses that time to study. Hope you moms get call today also. He said that he didn't  know they would be calling today but wasn't sure if they would call next Saturday. Over all it was a good call.

Ship 03 DIv 415 Calls are coming in too!!!  WOOOO HOOOO ... Just got off the 20min call with my son.  Sounded a litttle worried.  Said some are being discharged or sent back. Otherwise things are good.  He's like 4th in charge in the Div.  He did say its definitely tough but he's holding his own and doing his best. He received my letter today and was so happy. Told him his Dad's should be early this week.  Told us to keep the letters coming. He told us one guy gets so like 20 letters a week...LOL. He did ask about the news because they are detached from that stuff. They didn't hear about the Navy Yard shooting until we told him. Said food is like how I cook at home, so it makes him like he's got a little bit of home there with him.  Misses us alot and looking forward to seeing us when he graduates :)

Super Cute Bunny Waving

Does anyone have a son that is going to be H.T. Hull Technician in ship 03 div. 416. My son says there are about 6 of them is his division. Just wondering if there moms where on here.

We are staying at the Navy Lodge. We will most likely attend Sarge's meet and greet. Isn't that such an amazing thing they do for the SR's families? I will have to ask my son if he knows your son. We are soooooo blessed to have gotten a phone call 2 Saturdays in a row! I miss my son so much, haven't cried since last Saturday, I was literally crying just seconds before he called, up until I got his letters today! Well I should RSVP for the meet and greet:) I can't seem to send you a message, I'm so not computer savvy, lol!

My son Devin called today and I was on a live meeting call and was unable to talk to him. I am soooo bummed. It was the thing the made me finally break. I was doing ok until this today.

Still have not received a letter from him yet :(

He said he had some dental work done in his voice message. Also that everything is going ok.

Thank you. It has been a long three weeks. Hard to believe almost been a month since him and his brother left for basic. The other one is in the Air Force and left the day before Devin.

So sorry that you missed your call that sucks! I can't believe we have gotten three calls now. I wasnt even expecting any calls til fourth week. My son likes to journal while he is there so he does it in letters so I do get several pages every Sunday. He said receiving letters helps a lot while you are there. He got a cavity filled too yesterday. They are starting fourth week so that is exciting!
