Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 395 and 396

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

No phone call this weekend.  A little worried.  But looking to the bright side. No news is good news.

25 more days and we will be able to see our son. I just can't wait. I'm sure every other parent, spouse, etc is as excited as I am. Looking forward to meeting everyone at Sarge's meet and greet on the 17th. I've heard they are wonderful.

Well our SR's have started week 5 of their boot camp. Looking forward to a letter today since I didn't receive one last week, however I did receive 2 phone calls. I forgot to ask him if they had earned any flags. Does anyone happen to know? Just curious. Has anyone heard how the division is doing? I know I will probably get the answers to these questions in the letter I hope to receive today but I'm just anxious since our SR's are approaching their graduation day. God bless!

I mailed a letter off two days ago and asked the same thing. All these different divisions are talking about awards and flags and Wyatt hasn't mentioned anything. I was curious too. I hope they're doing well. Wyatt has been very upbeat so I think if they weren't he would have mentioned it. 21 more days and 19 days till I leave to go there. Finally getting closer. Can't wait...

I haven't gotten a letter in 2 weeks but the last time I did hear from him he said everything was going good.  He's also been very upbeat other than a little homesickness.  I'm so ready to see my son!

Just like I thought...I did get 2 letters today and he did say that they flagged in their 1st event and their next event was Tuesday. I sure miss him so much as he is my baby. They are on the down hill slide of boot camp now so it won't be long and we all will be able to see our sailors. Just won't come soon enough. Everyone have a good evening and god bless!

Finally a letter from Colt! Yay . He is doing well and I am so glad :) perfect ending of my day

I can't believe that there are only 3 Fridays left! All the letters I have received are very positive. Division 395 has made tremendous progress. It amazes me how my daughter does not write "me, I, or they". She always says "we" whenever she describes accomplishments. I have noticed the difference in her writing. She writes with such confidence and pride. She appreciates the hard work because she knows that this is what helps build a strong and committed division. I am very proud of her and of all the recruits and I am thankful that they have come this far.

I am sad that my flight will not arrive in Chicago until 8:20 and I will miss the meet and greet Thursday. Hopefully I can get any vital last minute information about PIR from someone staying at the Navy Lodge also :)

Received a letter today.  395 is doing well.  They scored 8/10 points on Marlinspike and are doing fire fighting this week.  If they do well on drill inspections this week they get phone calls this weekend.  They want news from outside.  My son is going thru sports withdrawal.  Time to start getting excited.  Two Weeks.

Has anyone from ship 11 div. 395 received a call yet today??

Yeah I have my daughter they are getting phone liberties today for doing well
