Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 423 and 424

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Does anyone have a SR who is over 30 (12/423).  If so I'd love to know.  I would seem this SR has become best friends with my SR who is 21.

One of the times I spoke with my daughter she said there were 4 people in her div, div 423, over 30.  One she said has a son around her age, she's 18.

My daughter is headed to San An Tx (HM) for her A school.  Anyone else in her division 423 headed there as well? I've seen one so far, it would be nice to see that some of those training together will move on to A schools together!

Kayla'sMom said her SR is headed there as an MA.

I seen that! She must had meant medical assistant so actually HM? I read MA is master at arms which is like military police. I think San An is just medical but I could be wrong.

Nope I guess they do that in San An too! I had to look it up, lol. Very cool!

Gahhhh stuck at work and the mail person didnt make it to my house yet!!! now i have to wait until 6PM to find out if i got a letter from my SR its nerve racking

What makes it worse, is the fact that my mother let me know that i have 2 "packages" she didn't say a letter or envelope just 2 "packages" now shes got me wondering !!!

I finally got my letter! It was much longer than the last one! My SRs is still missing home but things sound good for her! She has been a bit sick, and from the sounds of it a lot of SRs are. She wrote to send more stamps, that they have to use 2 stamps if there are more than 3 pages to a letter regardless of weight. I was wondering why she kept putting 2 stamps on them! I've been sending her larger ones with only one stamp and thought she was just playing it safe :)

Oh Geez thats not good about being sick! lucky you though you got a letter nothing on my end :(

Did anyone else recieved a call? our SR called my husband and his sister being I can't have my cell phone here at work. They both said he sounded good. Glad he called his sister she really needed to hear his voice and I think the same for him. He said passed with a 4.0 they and he said the whole division passed so that is good. I am hoping I will see a letter when I get home. He also told his sister it is getting easier as he gets used to the routine. According to his sister he wanted to know more about what was going on with her then tell her things about him.

I got a call too. My daughter said their division got a flag and they are hoping for more. I guess I will have to research what the flags are earned for. She did say one of her friends slipped in the shower/bathroom room and may have broken something! Bummer I hope she's ok! Sounds like there is a lot of tension between the girls of each div.
