It sounds like lots of moms got boxes and/or form letters yesterday- Nothing for me and I live in Chicago- what????

I can't wait for the kids to get home this afternoon and let me know what is waiting for us at the mailbox!!!

I keep repeating the mantra "No news is good news" That has really helped me stay upbeat and positive for him :)

I hope you get your letter and box today too!!

I hope you get yours, too! I'm assuming we are in the 11/27 PIR group. Getting anxious. And I'm doing the same thing, no news is good news!

Have a great day!

I hope you ladies get one or the other (or both!) - just got a message that my SR's box arrived this morning.  Thinking about running home at lunch to open it!

I THINK YOU SHOULD GO HOME AND OPEN IT! MINE TOLD ME HE WROTE A NOTE ON THE PLANE TO ME TO PUT IN HIS BOX, I CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT! GOT THE FORM LETTER TODAY, MAYBE THE KIB TOMORROW! WELL WE HAVE ALMOST A WEEK UNDER OUR BELTS, I THINK WE'LL MAKE IT!!!!!!

I'm 'compromising' and going to take my lunch at the end of the day - since I would typically be going home at 4 today anyhow, so that means I only have 3 more hours!  I am so very anxious!!

You're darn right we'll make it!  WE'RE NAVY MOMS!!!

YAY! Happy for you...hopefully we get ours. My hubby is laughing at you, says there's something wrong with being more excited about dirty underwear than food....lmao!
I, on the other hand, totally get it!
Have fun!

lol it really IS funny to stop and consider the excitement over dirty laundry!

I hope you get yours very soon!!

We are Ship 11 Div 025 per the recruiter :)

My daughter left 10/2 from Nashville.  Arrived last night in GL.  got my I'm here call around 8:52.

Maybe your daughter and my daughter will get the same division.  Where did your daughter fly out of?  Mine flew out of Nashville.  She was the only female.  There were three other Navy shippers that day but they were all young men.

My son left 10/2 from CA

There are several mom's on the Bootcamp for Mom's group that had children leave on the same day.  Might want to join that group as well.  Lots of veteran Navy mom's on there giving encouragement and advise!
