Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 421 and 422

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

One more down, five more to go~~~~~~~~~~~

I just joined this group because one of my Sailor's closest friends is Ship 13 Div 421 - his name is Alex.  I was hoping to be able to stay on top of what is going on with their divisions and show support for him as well.  We just received our first letter from him on Thursday and hadn't heard from him since he left on 9/8 for the hotel... My son had left for Boot Camp 7/29 so we had a little over a month with Alex until he had to leave too and it was like saying good bye to a son all over again - I cried like a baby.  Lol :)  My son's younger siblings love Alex as well so he would come over and hang out with them when he could.  My son just graduated from Boot Camp 9/27 and is now in A-school in Great Lakes.  I hope you are all dong well and staying strong - these weeks will go by quickly even though it doesn't seem like it now.  I hope these divisions are coming together as a team and doing great!

Just wondering how everyone else is doing since the kids didn't call on Saturday.  Although my son called on Wednesday - I still missed hearing from him. I have already booked our rooms at the Navy Lodge and we will be driving in from Virginia. The next 31 days cannot go quick enough for me.

Our son called thinking he could talk an hour, but only got to for ten minutes.i am with you four more fridays and we get our hugs..our son said in his letter he would call before battle stations so lets hope thats real soon. We are flying out of Dallas Lovefield the 7th.
Hi, my hubby is in div 422... I would appreciate hearing some stories your SRs are telling you in your letters about how their division is doing. I am not getting any mails from him because I am living overseas. If you can please update me, thank you. Are they doing great?

Anyone have a BattleStations date for 421/422?  If so, please don't post it here, but please friend request it to me.  We are having conflicting dates for these divisions.  Thanks!

My son Austin is also in division 421.I am missing hearing his voice - so long since his last call. At least I got a letter - he sounded upbeat and excited.

Here you go, Division 422!

This evening I believe, the battlestations begin for our SR's..Prayers that they recollect everything they have learned

thus far, stay focused, work as a team and get those caps NAVY    and we mommas, wives, girlfriends get that call tomorrow....

Actually, Melinda, we think 421/422 went through last night and will be calling at any time now.

Yes, they went through BS last night and they called today!  My son called at 12:00pm our time (Washington state).
