Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 019 and 020
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Anybody finding any car rental deals From Midway Airport?
I went direct with budget, $34 a day for compact car. Cheapest I could find out of Midway. I called directly so I could get the best price. Online they had the pay now, pay later options for a difference of $60 off the total rental price. I got the pay now price, but don't have to pay until I pick up. I think my total was $150 after all the taxes and surcharges, etc for the 3 days.
Thank you.
I will try that as well. I too looked online and thought they were a bit pricy.
If you haven't read in the main section, one of the admins posted about dollar car rentals. changed my reservation to them and now saving 50%...$82.99 instead of $157. It is under the special weekend pricing. Good Luck!
Is Dollar Car Rentals the name of the rental co.? I am looking for the post. In which section did you see the post?
dollar.com is the site. Search the specials tab, search for discounts and choose special weekend rates. Hope this helps.
Any moms have SRs who will be staying in GL for A-School?
My daughter Charlotte Ship 14 Div19 will be.
Good Afternoon Everyone I hope you all are having a really nice day! I am missing My Son today alot, I went a few days with out tears but Today they fell again.... been trying to stay as busy as I can , I found this really cute Idea on Pinterest to make a box to put all his letters in when we get them .... So tonight when my youngest gets home that is what we will be doing :)
I too have found myself to be an emotional mess today. Where on Pinterest did you see the box? I like the idea as well. Hang in there mamma!
Im going to go check out Pintrest! This sounds like a GREAT idea!
I just had a tear jerker moment, went to my SR's younger sisters teacher conference, she is a Junior in Video Production....the teacher played me the video my younger daughter did for a 7 sequence shot. It was of her older sister leaving!! She paired it with Carrie Underwood's song..."See you again" Holy Moly were the tears welling up in my eyes!!! I told him I was sorry for being so emotional, he said when she presented the final copy to him for a grade, he viewed it & played it for the class & a hand full of other teachers, and that there wasnt a dry eye in the room, so he had no doubt that I would tear up! Im so very proud of my SR & so is her sister!
