Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 019 and 020

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Oh my goodness. That got my tears flowing.

He is making me a copy so I can show Morgan when she graduates! Her sister wants to video the graduation, to add to the video. Anyone know if this is allowed?

I believe you can as long as it is inside.

Well it BETTER be inside! Otherwise we could be sitting in snowdrifts! LOL :)

We'll have to wear our woollies!! Lol

Yes the snow... That worries me a bit, I am a California girl and whenever we go to the mountains, my husband drives. So I am a little worried to be by myself driving in a city I've never been to and have to deal with snow. I guess I should call the rental company and inquire about chains? Anyone have any advice for that one? Please help (:

Thanks, that is what a friend told me as well. Guess I need to go shopping :)

I think this is a GREAT idea! I only hope the Air Force has one too as my other son ships out on the 28th of Oct.  So proud of them but miss my sailor so much!!!!  I got the letter and booked my flight but not the hotel or rental car yet.  I am flying in from California :-)  I can't wait to see him.  I read some of the posts and it looks like some of you already know where your loved one will be attending A school.  How do I find out where my son will go to A school? Before he left he said he was going to be stationed in San Fancisco Ca.  That will dictate my travel plans ESPECIALLY if he gets to attend A school in San Francisco as that is my back yard :-)

@Catabrieece- you could call your sons recruiter, he/she should be able to tell you where he will be attending A school! When my daughter swore in the initial time (end of Jan.) they told her where she would be going after bootcamp for schooling. Hope this helps!

Good Morning Catabrieeci.

Sounds like you are close to me? I am located in Stockton. I booked our flight out of Oakland.

Not to far Bizebt :-)  I am in Yuba City :-)  I usually fly out of Sac because it is closer but for $400.00 I will take the 2 hour drive so SF :-) Worth it to me especially when I know I have another boot camp graduation at the end of December in Texas :-)

Oh wow! You have 2 in BC?
