Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 021 and 022

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Got the call, yay!! I hope everyone gets there call today as well!! Ship 03 Div 022

Got my call this morning. I was over the moon! He hopes to write tomorrow. He had got my letter so I was happy about that. It was great hearing his voice.

Hello everyone! I see that everyone got calls today. I missed mine. (sigh) I don't know if they get another chance to call back or not, I have my fingers crossed. Sticking close to the phone now. I am happy for all of you! I know how much it must have meant to you all!

My daughter and I are staying at the Courtyard Marriott for the PIR. Its about 10 mins from base. What is everyone thinking for Thanks giving? We won't have any details till we get there, right? I will be checking out places to eat in the area. Do we know if they are free all day for Thanksgiving? And we won't know if they fly out Fri or Sat for awhile, right? My son is going to Pensacola.

My son is also going to P'cola after PIR. It is really cool for my son because that is close to where all of our family live...45 mins away in Mobile, AL. P'cola is a great city.

hello - my boy is 03/021.  Got his calls today. Cannot wait to get up there (in TX now) for PIR on 11/27.  He said he thinks he gets the 28th off.  I sure hope so.  Don't know what we'll do, but I'm sure we'll figure it out.  Best Thanksgiving EVER!

Loved getting the phone call from my SR yesterday. Not having fun, but he's handling it well. He told me that PT has been comparable to gym class so far and that he did the swim the day before. Does anyone have other details of what they've been up to the last couple of weeks?

my son wrote in the letter i received today that they will get another call home on Saturday if they do well this week!

Thanks so much for sharing that! I will be sure to be home this time! They better do well this week! lol

Thank you, tiffytbe and TJ'sMom for sharing the info in your letters! :)

Our SR (Ship 03, Div 021) letter (dated 10/13) came to day!  =D

He said they walk 20 miles per week weighed down.  No mention of blisters.  He probably doesn't want me to worry.  He passed his swimming class and said it was "cool".  He also says the food is decent but wishes there were more than 3 meals per day.  He is so used to eating all of the time.  Their first "real knowledge test and inspection" is this week.  He also says that the yelling doesn't get to anyone anymore.  =)

Thank you for sharing vivian! So glad the yelling isn't getting to anyone anymore! Can't wait to hear how their inspections and tests go. If I get a letter or call I will definitely share. Thanks again!

Awesome!  I love this!

They all tell us something different in their letters!  Sharing between all of us, we are really getting a better picture of what is going on!

I hope these boys know we are the best moms ever!  XD

And they wondered how we knew the things we knew when they were being sneaky....  lol!
