Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 803 and 804
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there ladies!!!

Something to consider ladies (my husband just gave me a thought). It COULD be that the Navy was letting groups/divisions/or even specific recruits call home who are struggling, to help them and keep them from quiting. As we all know, our young men in the 800 division have to be a bit "tougher" than the norm to qualify. They may (a positive thought) be doing just fine, so don't get a call. Or, maybe it's just random or some calls will be made all weekend. ... No clue, really... but a thought/perspective. Please post if you DO get a call.
good perspective-thank you. And true. Will just keep my cell on my person , just in case. Here's hoping!
Just got call from my SR!! It was so hard to hear on the crackly connection, but he has never sounded better!! YAY!!
I just got off the phone with my son. I am in heaven!! He is doing well and getting through it so far. He said he stands a lot and doesn't sleep enough. lol we spoke for 25 min. I had so many questions but I let him talk because I was enjoying hearing his voice and listening to the enthusiasm in his voice as he explained his adventure thus far.
My son's GF got a call today, she called me right away to give me all the details, no form letter yet but she is pretty sure he is division 804 PIR is 11.27. I will update once I get his letter which should be next week.
Congrats to all of us who got calls... Too bad our "warriors" don't come equipped with complete body/mind/spirits armor. I realize just how much our young men and women rely on us for support. So happy our son loves us enough to call and share. I told him we had reservations for PIR (hoping to perk him up) and he said that it was a very long time away. I am confident my son, and your sons, will all get through this with flying colors. Night to all.
