Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 013 and 014
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

It's a beautiful day here in Wisconsin also. The leaves are so beautiful in their bright reds, oranges and rust. Puts a different type of glow in the area. I was taking the dog for a walk this morning and it sounded like a battle zone. All the gunshots! I live in a very rural area and I guess it is duck or goose season. Kinda scary though. I realize they are shooting up but still. Unnerving.
I love when I scroll past the digital days till PIR. It is already in the 30's. Okay it just turned, 39 but still, pretty soon we''ll be seeing the 20's. Just can't wait !
You bet they did once the beloved Packers came on ! haha I am not a football fan so that is the best time to go to the grocery store or shopping. The stores are empty!
Yes, that is my dog. Actually my SR took that picture and entered it in the Wisconsin Humane Society's calender contest. She won the privilege of being Miss September. She's a good dog :)
Yes, your dog is a beauty! That is so cool that it is in a calander... and Miss September standing proud for your SR as he starts his journey in the Navy! :)
I just finished putting paw prints from our 3 dogs and cat on a card with a stamp pad for my SR from them lol. The cat still won't come near me and our parakeet would NOT participate at all! It was fun though lol, he'll get a kick out it!
I'm in Western NY and agree the leaves look awesome! I love this time of year too!
HAHA! I'm sure your SR will love it! That's great! :)
That's a great idea too! :) Watch us all get squirrel or mouse tracks back lol
My son is in Div 013. Got a call from him last Saturday and he was crying....this from a kid that never cries. Said he was just so glad to hear my voice and could not believe how much he missed everyone. I was very concerned that things were going badly for him but he reassured me that it wasn't that that had him upset, he was doing really well, he just really missed us and never realized how good he had it...so as nice as that was to hear it was heartbreaking as well. He is my baby..I hate that he's hurting whatever the reason. He then called his girlfriend and she missed the call. She has been a crying mess ever since, he left her a voicemail and she listens to it over and over. I was hoping for another call this Saturday but did not get it. Any idea when he may call again and is it always going to be on the weekend?
