Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 013 and 014

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Welcome to our group Kirsten! Hope to see u at the meet and greet.
Hi ladies, I ordered a coin from Pirgifts I got it today. It's the USS Kearsarge ship 11 coin. I thought it was rather nice as a PIR grad gift. Just food for thought. Ordered Saturday got it today. Cannot remember but maybe around $13. Tomorrows Thursday maybe we will get some mail!

OK everyone, with the holiday yesterday, we should be on training day 3-2 today! Which means "Hell Week" (week 4 will start on Monday!) This is an eventful intense week for our SR's, so keep praying and keep those blue candles going! For those of you that don't have the day to day info, here you go: http://www.navydep.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433

I'm excited for them! If they are getting together as a team as I believe they are... they are going to love these competitions and will excel! I know they will do the best they can though and will probably hear us all cheering from here! :)

I hope everyone gets letters soon... they are on their way!

Aloha Ship 11 DIV 013 & DIV 014 Brotherhood! What ever ship or division our children/loved one is on, they ALL are SR's and soon to be United States Sailors! I keep everyone in my thoughts & prayers including us motherhood! I am so thankful to have this site & forums/groups and the veteran moms here to help us along the way. I think I would have been a total wreck if not for this site! I only wished that BC was a little closer to home so that my entire family could come to see this special event Live! I hope to meet you all @ the M&G. Goodnight & God Bless you all & our SR's
Hi ladies,
Just wanted to let you all know last night my son called. He is being medically discharged. He will be home in 2-3 weeks. I am so sad for him right now. How do you begin to say its going to be ok. He really wanted this. He is so disappointed. I'm afraid once he gets home he will feel like a failure. Sorry I cannot be at PIR. So wanted meet all of you. I wish all of the best in your endeavors and bless all of your SR's.

I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope he is okay.  Hang in there. Why will he have to wait 2 to 3 weeks to be home?

I am so sorry Sheree! Please let your son know that he is NOT a failure! Things happen for a reason! And I thank him for having the courage to start this journey! I will keep you all in my prayers. God bless your son, you & your family!

My thoughts exactly islandmom.. well put!

I'm so sorry to hear this Sheree! I sent you a message in your inbox.

Stay Strong... we are here for you!

(((((((((((((hugs from us all)))))))))))))

I'm very sorry about your son. I hope he is ok.

I am so sorry to hear that Sheree. But please let your son know that he is NOT a failure!! He is a great person that god has a different plan for!! I wish you and your son the best in life!!

Oh, Sheree, I'm so sorry to hear this.  I can't imagine the emotions for both you and your son.  Praying for you and him as he transitions back home and starts the process of discovering a new path.  May God be close to you now.  Maybe someone mentioned this already, but I know there is a group for those whose SRs are being separated.  Ship #5, I think.
