Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 019 and 020
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I asked my sons recruiter and he said that I should write anyway and if he does get extra assignments it'll be good for him and he'll come out stronger on the other side LOL!!!
I like that response!
o no if that is true maybe that is why i havent gotten a letter he is to busy doing other things hahahaha i have sent something to him everyday !!!!!
So now that I've recieved my phone call (this past weekend) I'm re-stalking the mailbox waiting for that first letter! Geezzz It's pretty hard sitting here & not knowing anything! I have 2 other children to keep me busy (and trust me they do) but there is still that void of one not being there!
Karen, my daughter absolutely loves it! Her call was upbeat (minus the first few secs. of crying) & so was her letter! She said she thinks its easier than what she expected! She did great on her initial physical test, did 4 extra each of the push-ups & sit-ups than required & finished 7th in the run! Of course I had no doubt she would do well there, she is a runner! One of those die hard runners, you know, get up on the weekends at 5am to go run 5-10 miles for fun!? I personally don't think running is fun, especially in the winters of Ohio, but hey, more power to her! Throughout her letter she used Navy terms all of which she translated into "civilian" terms except for one, so now I get to go figure that one out! LOL She said she was called into the fishbowl (office) where the RDC told her that she (female RDC) expects her to get a "Bravo Zulu"? hahaha I have no clue what that means, but I sure hope it's something good! :) My favorite part of the letter... "turns out you were right" aaaaaahhhhhh that's what I was waiting to hear! LOL
Did you receive your letter today? She informed me that they received mail on Sunday, or at least her Div did. I hope all is well with your SR!
This is so Great to hear!!! I am so glad your daughter is doing well sadly no letter for me today :( My Son is same Div so i pray for Tomorrow :) I may do the Happy Momma Dance in the Street if it is there tomorrow!!!!! but thank you for sharing that they got their mail Sunday .... I hope My son loved his many letters we have sent so far :)
