Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 013 and 014

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

lol, shesh!!  I think that everyone in 013-014 is going to be curious once we finally hear from him!!  I now have a 'spy' in the div who will ask her son when she hears from him.  If he hasn't heard of him, then I may need to worry!! :)

OMGoodness! I come home from work and then my daughter comes home and tells me guess who called me? Your not going to believe me, I was shock to get a phone call from your son??? I was like WHAT????? He said he tried calling you??? OMG!!! So he called everybody else! The first thing out of my mouth was...IS Everything OK? All I could think of was Sheree's son! I was in a panic mode until I started reading the post on here! TG...who knew??? They must have some angels on their side DIV 013...All I can say is Hoo Yah!

SR called today! Was so surprised! He sounded so tired. Said the practically the whole division has got the crud. He is still not sleeping from all the coughing he's doing . He did get some meds. He said they did get an IT today for them not paying attention to the division leaders (SRs). First one they have had. The good news is they passed a test or (tests) and earned a flag!  It's hard knowing your kid is sick and not being able to help like you want to because you know what he needs.  keep on praying for these sick SRs. Stay tough Div 013! We love you!

Hooray for you!

Good news and bad news mixed, huh?  I guess it's the IT that helps them straighten up, though, right?  I guess it's nice to know that it is their first IT.  Maybe they are a group that likes to learn things the easy way!  And a flag!  I'm still learning about those.

It's Friday here, so we're down to 5 weeks!!

Hi Barb, Here is the link with more details about honor graduates and the awards/flags:  http://navyformoms.com/group/bootcampmoms/page/honor-graduates-and-...

thanks.  I have a few tabs up on honor recruits and the recruit petty officers.  I'm absorbing them little by little!

Super Cute Bunny Waving

This is my first post, but I have been reading all of your comments.  My SR called while I was at work and talked to my 2 daughters and his dad. He also called his girlfriend. He left a message on grandma's answering machine, which is awesome, because she played it for me and I was able to hear his voice.  It is shocking for me to hear my great big boy sound so sad and lonely.  He did say though, that the training is no problem- the problem is being missing everyone so much.  We also received to letters today- 1 to the family and 1 personal letter to dad. It is absolutely amazing- these are the best letters I have ever read.  He is standing close to God and gaining alot of strength and wisdom from him, and passing it on to us in his letters.  Such advice to his dad, and is such a respectful and loving tone! He has always been a great kid, but this is a really new side, one that I can't be thankful enough for.  I am completely blessed! By the way, my SR is in div. 13 and will be going to South Carolina for A school.  He's a nuke. He says he will be able to spend the day with us on Saturday, so we are going to try to extend our stay until Sunday.  Sorry for the long post. Blessings to you all.

Awesome CaliforniaNavyMom! Congrats to you! He sounds like a great son with great values! He will do well! BTW: welcome to our team! Blessings to you too!

Awesome news all around!!  He sounds like a great kid!!  My boy is also in 013.  They should be getting to know each other.  (My daughter is in CA)

Hi Californianavymom! Welcome to our group! My SR is in Div 013 and a Nuke and is headed to Goose Creek as well for A School! I'm glad you got some letters and a call from your son! I didn't get any letters here yet,

My SR called last night, but there were phone issues from the payphone he was using yesterday so when he finally called back and I could hear him we only had about a min before his time was up! That is awesome you will be able to spend Saturday with your son! I read that even if they go to the same school, they still may fly out at different times and days but I am hoping that my son will fly out Sunday too!

Stay Strong everyone! 5 more Fridays to go!

lol thanks ellen... thats cute! :)
