Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 019 and 020

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

@ Karen that's my SRs division waiting for the call thank u for the heads up :)
So we finally got a phone call today a 20 minutes call and my son
Sounded so good like my boy I love !!! It was so wonderful to hear from him
I'm so happy and he said he loves loves loves letters
Yippie!!! :)

What a sweet surprise, was on the phone and I had a call come in with the 847 area code...I said got to go and literally hung up on my friend...I called back later to apologize :)

19 minutes today. He said he had been looking forward to the call all day. He had all in all 6 teeth pulled, but he said they did a great job and he has no pain. He missed his first test but gets to make it up Monday. He too still has the lingering cough, but he is feeling better. He is in very high spirits and is excited about the last month remaining. He loves getting mail, he wants to know everything, the good, the bad, the ugly....it helps him feel like he is home. He mentioned some SRs he is bonding with. An artist with the last initial of B that he is designing the men's flag with, and another fellow corpsman from Texas, his bunk mate, with the last name initial S. Not sure if they are div 19 or 20, but he is div 20.He said time flies and with his new job of administrator (can't remember the actual title) he gets to wear a watch...that really excited him since it helps him keep track of the days. He said tomorrow he thinks is 3-1. Hope everyone was able to get some kind of communication this weekend. If not remember no news is good news too.

Awesome news from RTC! :) Glad he is doing well!

Morning Moms and families of Ship 14 Div 19/20 !!

Goooooood Morning!! :) Glad you were able to FINALLY speak to your son!!! :)

Good morning all!  Hopefully our SRs will get to make calls today!  I thought I saw some others posting that their SRs told them over the weekend they'll get to make calls today.  I still haven't received a call or letter, but at least my sons girlfriend is letting me know when he calls her so I know he's doing ok.  Dang that kid!  Why won't he call me?!?!  I miss hearing his voice.

Just got off the phone with my daughter. Odd that they got to call again, but I will take it! My hubby will be bummed he has not gotten to speak with her since she left. She has left messages on his phone, but to him not the same. :(

She did not say this was the last call so hopefully one more time before Battle Stations.

Good Morning! OK this one might be for your veteran mom's, but those of us who's SR arrived around 9/25 when should they receive their first pay? I have checked bank account and nothing yet.
