Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 803 and 804

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

We heard from our son this morning, also. He is very upbeat and happy. He definitely has no regrets about enlisting. :) He was told he won't have to have his wisdom teeth removed. Other than that, everything seems to be progressing quite smoothly.

Aunt bee, so happy to hear that you got a call this morning - my SR is also div 803, and I'm just betting I do not hear anything from him today.  All week this past week I have just been "sure" that he'd end up getting his wisdom teeth out this week, and hearing your son say about 13 guys got them pulled - well, I just have a feeling my SR was one of them.  Almost hoping he DID, instead of hearing from him today and learning that he'll be getting them out next week - you know what I mean? I would much rather not know and find out it's already been done!  No letter from him yet; will see if I get called this afternoon.  Do appreciate the update though - thank you!

Hi barefoot, his phonecall had me on cloud nine all day.

Hello to the '800' division.  I just learned today that my SR is in this division.  It was a recent move for him.  All he told me was that his graduation is 11\27 and that his address had changed.  So, anyone out there who can fill in 'the blanks' for me?  He sounded confident, upbeat and indicated that the group was getting better everyday in regard to 'learning the ropes'.

Hi beachwalke, did he tell you which div. 803 or 804? Did you hear from him this weekend?

He call yesterday afternoon about 3:14 - it was so very difficult to hear him because of all of the noise at our stadium.  He did say ship 4, Arleigh Burke.  If he gave me the division, I did not hear it. Plan to call his recruiter tomorrow.

welcome beachwalker... to 803

Congratulations to your son, beachwalker - and welcome to you!  My SR is in 803.

beachwalker, I guess the first question would be, do you know what your SRs rating was when he enlisted?

HM \ corpsman.

Apparently, there is more than the 803 and 804 divisions on the A. Burke.  My son is in division 0271, but not sure why that is the case.  Call and left a message for the recruited, but he has not returned my call.  So, I'm still looking for a an explanation

.

Hi everyone, Our SR is in Div. 803. I was so disappointed we didn't get a call this weekend and no letter yet. I would really like to know if he was one that got wisdom teeth taken out.

I loved the idea with the sign around the dogs neck. I took picture of our 5 mo old German shepherd wearing a sign that said "Hey....You left me. I want to join the NAVY too!" It was a bit challenging, but worth it. I wish I could see him open that envelope.

This site is too addictive. It sure isn't helping my to do list to get any smaller.
