While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 803 and 804
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Proud mom, my SR is 803, we didn't get a call, nor have we received any mail at all. His wisdom teeth were already out, so it's not a dental delay. I know it will come, but feeling kind of disheartened.

Ladies, I may be mistaken, but seems like 804's got calls and 803's did not. Maybe this weekend is THEIR turn... I hope so for your sakes... :)

Welcome 803 and 804. Sorry I am a little late joining in. I am a veteran mom whose son was in Division 822 in 2010 with a SEAL contract. I have tried to catch up on the comments and happy to see some of you are getting calls. The 800 divisions do not get as many calls as the other divisions, but do expect a few. There is no rhyme or reason to when, its different with each group going through. You can count on three, but there could be more. Always remember "No News is Good News" when its comes to spec ops.
If any of you are joining the PreBuds groups, please make sure your page is set to private. Many of the veteran moms on there are understandably cautious with new members. Its never to early to start practicing the same precautions. Get to know those in your division, you will be on this roller coaster ride together.
If anyone has any questions, I will gladly try to help.

I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking of having a late breakfast or brunch. I have to drive back to CT later that day to be at work on Friday. My son has A school in Great Lakes right after boot camp, so I don't know what kind of freedom he will have for the holiday

If he is staying in gl for pt or a school, he will have liberty all weekend. unless he has to stand watch. We changed when we were leaving until mon. You are lucky to be so close....

WOW that will be a quick visit and a long drive home (I know, from Pocono area for me and you are further). We were stationed in Groton, CT for 6 yrs - Loved it there :) Fingers crossed the snow doesn't hit hard for us all traveling. We were going to fly but since it happens to be that week, the airfare jumped and we decided not to.

My Mom and I are planning to 'pow-wow' this weekend to discuss things we can bring with us. I'm only a few hours away from GL so we will very likely pack a cooler. My mother at one point suggested that we could always bring a ham that's been baked - there are any number of different things we can do. I thought it was pretty neat last night when my Mom asked me if there's a 'great room' type place at Navy Lodge in the event a number of decided to celebrate the holiday together instead of going out to eat. A lot of it will depend on what my SR wants to do.
